Hi.
This site is great and really informative. I have a question though - As I have just started breeding I havent had my stock vaccinated yet due to some being already vaccinated and some not so I thought it would be best to do them all together in the new year but when I have had a look at the costs it turns out at over £15 per rabbit and I dont have that money at hand. Is there are cheaper way of getting them all vaccinated or is this the normal price to pay for a vaccination against VHD and myxi.
Regards,
Olivia

Webmaster comments   As it currently stands, the cost of vaccination against both myxi AND VHD is costly and the pirces quoted are fairly normal.

Hello,I've got a breeding question; is it normal to breed bucks with their daughters and grand daughters to "double up" on good genes? I thought any interbreeding is a no-no.Surely you'll get funny bunnies? Birth defects/mutations?

Webmaster comments   It is quite normal to do father/daughter and mother/son matings. It is not advisable to do matings between brother & sister though, unless experienced and in control of a tight breeding program.
