Hi.
This site is great and really informative. I have a question though - As I have just started breeding I havent had my stock vaccinated yet due to some being already vaccinated and some not so I thought it would be best to do them all together in the new year but when I have had a look at the costs it turns out at over £15 per rabbit and I dont have that money at hand. Is there are cheaper way of getting them all vaccinated or is this the normal price to pay for a vaccination against VHD and myxi.

As it currently stands, the cost of vaccination against both myxi AND VHD is costly and the pirces quoted are fairly normal. |

Hello,I've got a breeding question; is it normal to breed bucks with their daughters and grand daughters to "double up" on good genes? I thought any interbreeding is a no-no.Surely you'll get funny bunnies? Birth defects/mutations?

It is quite normal to do father/daughter and mother/son matings. It is not advisable to do matings between brother & sister though, unless experienced and in control of a tight breeding program. |

I'm looking for a baby mini lop doe any colour, not for breeding will be a much loved pet. Unfortunately I have had big problems finding one near me in Plymouth. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.

hi , is the silver fox the same as the black fox or are these different breeds?
i have 2 silver fox rabbits - a buck and a doe . as yet i have not bred them but i hope to in the near future.i would like to hear from anyone who breeds the silver fox .
